Rachel LeighMeet Rachel Leigh
Rachel Leigh is an associate at Gathings Law. Rachel attended Troy University in Dothan, Alabama and graduated summa cum laude with a BS in psychology and a minor in criminal justice. After graduation and participating in the work force for several years, she received a scholarship to attend Cumberland School of Law where she graduated with honors in the top 25% of her class.
During her legal studies, Rachel was a member of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy, Moot Court Board, and the Social Media Chair of Student Health Lawyers Association. Rachel also received the Scholar of Merit award in Criminal Procedure. Rachel clerked for Chief Judge Bowdre of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama where she primarily worked on social security appeals and drafted judicial opinions. Rachel also clerked for a wide variety of law firms specializing in insurance defense, family law, personal injury and FINRA arbitration.
Rachel’s practice includes personal injury, mass tort litigation, business litigation and family law. She practices in all Alabama state courts.
